Our mother fought her fight for over 21 years and throughout all that time she never gave up and always remained positive even though she lived in constant pain. She also never complained once and always kept her infectious smile on for all to share. When people came to visit her in the hospital expecting to cheer her up they actually left feeling better themselves because of her ability to help them with their issues and she continued to inspire them to live life to the fullest.
Multiple myeloma was just something that she had to deal with but she never let it define who she was as a person and never let it stop her from doing everything she wanted to do and more. Each day was a blessing and she showed everyone who came in contact with her that no matter what challenges or obstacles anyone might be dealing with in life they could still live a full and happy life.
Our mission as a family is to keep her amazing legacy alive by giving back to the army of countless doctors, researchers, hospitals and many more. Our goal is to help advance research and treatment for all those suffering from this terrible disease and to hopefully one day find the miracle cure so no one else will have to suffer through this.
